Gourmet House Caviar is seeking a reliable and highly organized Warehouse Coordinator to support the daily operations of our UK branch. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, practical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury food environment where accuracy, cleanliness, and timing are essential.
The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for helping manage incoming and outgoing stock, coordinating shipments, maintaining warehouse organization, and supporting the wider operations team with day-to-day logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse activity, including receiving, organizing, and dispatching goods.
Prepare, pack, and coordinate customer, wholesale, and internal branch orders.
Check incoming stock against invoices, packing lists, and delivery documentation.
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular stock counts.
Monitor product storage conditions and ensure all goods are handled according to food safety standards.
Coordinate with couriers, delivery drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
Assist with labeling, packaging, and product preparation when needed.
Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or operational issues to management.
Support the UK operations team with general administrative and logistical tasks.
Requirements
Previous warehouse, logistics, inventory, or operations experience preferred.
Experience in food, luxury goods, hospitality supply, or refrigerated products is a strong advantage.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures carefully.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable using basic inventory systems, spreadsheets, email, and shipping platforms.
Ability to lift, move, and organize stock safely.
Reliable, punctual, and professional.
Able to work independently while also supporting a small team.
Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of food handling or HACCP procedures.
Experience working with high-value or temperature-sensitive products.
Familiarity with courier booking, stock management, or order fulfillment systems.
Forklift or manual handling certification is a plus, but not required.
