Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Waitress and Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, taking orders, and providing excellent customer care in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. The position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring prompt service.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
  • Serve food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately, providing correct change when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, including clearing tables and sanitising surfaces regularly.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction levels and respond promptly to any concerns or special requests.
  • Assist in setting up and closing down the bar/restaurant area at the start and end of shifts.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality, serving, or restaurant environments is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of alcohol service regulations and responsible alcohol service practices is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. Pay: £12.21-£18.02 per hour
