Videographer \& Content Creator

Location: Chippenham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Contract: Initial three-month fixed-term contract, with scope to extend
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

The opportunity

We’re looking for a confident and creative Videographer and Content Creator to join our team in Chippenham.

This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking to grow their career, build a strong portfolio and gain real-world evidence of producing engaging video content for an established, growing business.

The position will initially be offered as a three-month contract. There may be scope for the role to continue or expand depending on the success of the project, individual performance and the future needs of the business.

What you’ll be doing

Your main responsibility will be to capture, edit and produce engaging video content for social media and internal use.

You will:

• Proactively identify opportunities to capture interesting and authentic content.
• Film team members and others, always ensuring the appropriate consent has been obtained.
• Help people feel relaxed, comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
• Turn conversations, activities and everyday moments into engaging video content.
• Edit raw footage into polished, publishable videos.
• Adapt content for different social media platforms and internal audiences.
• Add captions, graphics, music and branding where appropriate.
• Organise and manage captured footage effectively.
• Work with the wider team to keep content moving from idea through to publication.
• Capture plenty of material rather than waiting for every moment to be perfectly staged.

We’re looking for somebody who is:

• Confident, outgoing and comfortable approaching people.
• Naturally curious and able to get people talking.
• Proactive and willing to pick up the camera and start capturing content.
• Creative, energetic and full of ideas.
• Comfortable filming both planned and spontaneous content.
• Able to edit video content to a strong, publishable standard.
• Familiar with creating content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Eurostaffs, TikTok and YouTube.
• Organised and able to manage multiple pieces of content at different stages.
• Respectful and professional, particularly when filming people in a care-related environment.
• Keen to learn, develop and build an impressive body of work.

Formal qualifications are not essential. We are more interested in your creativity, confidence, attitude and ability to produce engaging content. Existing examples of your videography or content creation work would be welcomed, whether these come from employment, freelance work, education or personal projects.

This is a fully office-based position working from our Chippenham office, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,250.00 per year
