Veterinary Technician/Assitant

WE’RE HIRING – VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Fairy Tail Veterinary Clinic is looking for a knowledgeable, motivated, and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our clinical team in Al Furjan, Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians with consultations, examinations, and treatment plans
• Take patient history and prepare cases before examination
• Assist with blood collection, sample preparation, and laboratory testing
• Support diagnostic procedures including X-ray and ultrasound
• Prepare patients for surgical and medical procedures
• Assist during surgeries and monitor patients during recovery
• Monitor hospitalized patients and maintain accurate treatment records
• Administer treatments and medications under veterinarian supervision
• Assist with vaccinations, wound care, IV preparation, and other clinical procedures
• Communicate professionally with the veterinary team regarding patient progress
• Maintain high standards of patient care, hygiene, and clinical organization

Requirements:

• Veterinary medicine or relevant veterinary educational background preferred
• Good knowledge of small-animal medicine and clinical procedures
• Confident handling cats and dogs
• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is highly preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Responsible, attentive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Must currently be available in the UAE
