At AES Canberra, you’ll work at the forefront of emergency medicine, delivering life-saving care when it matters most.

What you’ll be doing * Perform triage and emergency patient assessment * Assist with critical care, diagnostics \& procedures * Monitor anaesthesia and surgical cases * Deliver high-quality nursing care to hospitalised ECC patients * Support vets in managing complex and urgent cases * Provide clear, compassionate communication to pet owners

Expect exposure to varied and high-acuity cases, from trauma and токс cases to GDVs, snake bites and more.

What we’re looking for * Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing * Minimum 2+ years clinical experience (ECC highly regarded) * Confidence working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments * Strong teamwork and communication skills * Availability for evenings, weekends \& public holidays * Own transport (required for shift work)

Highly desirable:

  • ECC experience
  • Recover CPR / Fear Free certification
  • Experience with Smartflow, IDEXX, Vision PMS
