Job Summary

To conceptualize\| design and deliver product / sustenance delivery through the team as per defined scope and standards in a particular technology. Experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong technical expertise in ABAP on Hana development.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP applications, integrations, and extensions on SAP S/4HANA

Skill Requirements

• Have 10+ years of working experience as a technical ABAP developer in SAP with at least 2 years of experience working in SAP S/4HANA system.
• Design, develop, test, and support custom SAP solutions using ABAP on HANA and SAP S/4HANA on Cloud technologies.
• Develop applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and follow SAP Clean Core principles.
• Design and implement CDS Views, CDS View Entities, and data models.
• Develop and consume OData Services for SAP Fiori and external integrations.
• Create high-performance database-centric solutions using AMDP, CDS Table Functions, and SQLScript.
• Develop and enhance solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP principles and design patterns.
• Implement and extend business functionality using BAdIs, Enhancement Framework, and SAP-released extensibility options (Key User Extensibility and Developer Extensibility).
• Design, develop, and maintain BRF+ applications, including: Determination Rules / Decision Tables / Rule Sets / Validation and Derivation Frameworks / Workflow Rule Evaluations
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Solution Architects to deliver scalable solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with SAP development standards, security, and performance best practices.
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
• Prepare technical specifications, design documents, unit test cases, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Promote development best practices.

Good to Have

• Experience in Adobe Forms / SAP Forms Service by Adobe.
• Experience with Flexible Workflow configuration and development. Flexible Workflow is commonly used within S/4HANA extensibility approaches.
• Knowledge of APIs, Integration Patterns, and Event-Driven Architectures.
• Design, develop, and maintain BRF+ applications, including: Determination Rules / Decision Tables / Rule Sets / Validation and Derivation Frameworks / Workflow Rule Evaluations

Other Requirements

Certified in ABAP on Hana or Back-End Developer - ABAP Cloud.
