Part-Time After School Teacher (Monday - Friday)
No experience in teaching and supervising students and/or in martial arts is required but beneficial.
Open to full-time or part-time college students.
Responsibilities for this position:
- Consistently follow all after school teacher guidelines, including dress code.
- Assist with picking up students from various Gwinnett County Public elementary schools in our area.
- Must maintain a good driving record and be comfortable with driving a passenger van/bus to schools on our routes and back.
- Supervise students during our after school program hours at all times.
- Maintain a safe, engaging and fun environment for students and coworkers.
- Complete daily classroom activities and cleaning tasks (classrooms and bathrooms).
- Strive to be a good example for students to follow.
- Bring (and maintain) a positive attitude to work and pleasantly greet parents upon arrival for their children.
Hours are 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and occasionally between 11 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on GCPS Early Release Days.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
