30.09.2026 The InnoSyn.2 ACS Program offers structured support to clinician scientists who have completed their specialty training and demonstrated a strong track record in research and teaching. Within this six-year program, candidates will develop and lead an innovative line in research aligned with the translational focus of the InnoSyn.2 ACS Program and the core research areas of the Medical Faculty.
The program fosters the development of outstanding clinical scientists as independent translational researchers and includes a 50 % release from clinical responsibilities.

The InnoSyn.2 ACS Program provides dedicated research time, enabling focused development of independent research projects. Scholarship holders receive € 135.000 per year to cover 50 % of their position as well as project-related research costs. The program offers structured career support aimed at leadership positions, strong integration into a translational research environment, access to clinical and research infrastructure within a high-level academic milieu, and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and international research networking.
