Taiwan–U.S. Business Liaison (Bilingual – Mandarin/English)

Overview

Keyser Commercial Real Estate is seeking a highly capable bilingual professional to serve as a Taiwan–U.S. business liaison and advisor, supporting Taiwanese companies exploring or executing expansion into the United States. This individual will operate at the intersection of language, culture, and business, helping facilitate communication, build trust, and drive real outcomes in high-level conversations.

Core Responsibilities

• Serve as a real-time interpreter and translator in meetings, calls, and site visits (Mandarin ↔ English)
• Act as a bridge between Taiwanese companies and U.S. stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and momentum
• Participate in executive-level discussions and help guide conversations beyond literal translation (context, tone, intent)
• Support Keyser in:
• Business development meetings
• Client relationship management
• Cross-border deal coordination
• Assist with:
• Preparing bilingual materials (emails, summaries, presentations)
• Translating business documents and communications
• Attend industry events, tours, and meetings in Taiwan and the U.S.
• Help identify opportunities, risks, and cultural nuances that may impact decision-making
• Build and maintain relationships across Taiwan’s business and industrial ecosystem

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Ideally, this person will live in Arizona
• Native or near-native Mandarin (Taiwan) fluency
• Exceptional English speaking and communication ability
• Strong presence in a room… confident, personable, not passive
• Quick thinker… able to translate and respond in real time
• High emotional intelligence and excellent people skills
• Deep understanding of Taiwanese business culture and etiquette
• Entrepreneurial mindset… comfortable in fast-moving, unstructured environments

• Background or exposure to:
• Commercial real estate
• Manufacturing / semiconductor / supply chain industries
• Cross-border business or consulting
• Experience supporting:
• Executives or client-facing teams
• U.S.–Asia business interactions

Engagement Structure

• Flexible… project-based, part-time, or full-time, depending on fit
• Travel required (Taiwan and U.S.)

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per year
