Invites Applications for the position of:

SUMMER STUDENT- TUTOR IN THE CLASSROOM

This position is open to students attending a post secondary institution in the fall. Preference will be given to those entering an education program.

Under the direction of the summer learning principal, the classroom tutor will:

• help students to set goals for themselves and motivate them to achieve those goals
• provide individual and small group support for students with academic work provided by classroom teacher(s)
• assist with setting up educational technology, distribute learning materials, photocopying, gathering supplies, help tidy the classroom at the end of day
• other duties as assigned by the Principal or teaching staff

Rate of Pay: $22.00/hour

Hours of Work: 9:00am-12:00pm, Monday to Friday (subject to change)

Start Date: Monday, June 29, 2026(subject to change)

End Date: Friday, July 17th, 2026(subject to change)

Prior to an offer of employment, all successful applicants will be required to provide a Vulnerable Sector Screening document deemed satisfactory to the Board. Please do not submit your Police Records Check with your application.
