Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural Engineer - Design to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and analyzing structural systems for a variety of building projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will drive the creation of resilient, sustainable structures while collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and construction teams. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural designs and calculations for buildings and various structures.
• Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete, steel, and other structural elements as required.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, details, and design documents.
• Develop structural calculations, technical reports, and design documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable engineering codes and standards, including SBC, ACI, ASCE, and other relevant standards.
• Use structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines to ensure design integration and compatibility.
• Review design changes, technical comments, and revisions and implement necessary modifications.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents submitted by contractors and suppliers when required.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase and respond to structural design-related RFIs and technical inquiries.
• Participate in technical meetings with project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients when required.
• Identify and resolve structural design issues and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and engineering standards.
• Support the development and improvement of design procedures, templates, and engineering standards within the department.
• Monitor assigned design tasks and ensure timely delivery in accordance with project schedules.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of calculations, drawings, revisions, and technical correspondence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in structural engineering and design.
• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing structural calculations and drawings.
