DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is looking for Structural Cladding Engineer in Doha, Qatar
Key Responsibilities
- Review structural and shop drawings for cladding installation.
- Quantity take off, initiate purchase requisition ensuring that all material and accessories including wastage has been considered.
- Coordinate with Procurement Team and vendor during procurement phase to ensure that all site requirements are captured in the purchase order.
- Coordinate with planning team to finalize schedule along with the required manpower, equipment, tools and tackle.
- Develop a detailed method statement for installation.
- Conduct site inspections, supervise installation works, and provide technical guidance to construction teams.
- Coordinate with site QC Engineer to arrange inspections as per approved ITP.
- Prepare markup drawing to track all changes and initiate As-Build drawing.
- Prepare detailed daily reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, piping, civil, and project management) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues during construction phase.
- Ensure adherence to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) requirementsacross all project stages.
Qualifications \& Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural engineering within the oil \& gas industry.
- Strong background in cladding design (metal, composite, and specialized industrial applications).
- Hands-on site engineering experience, including supervision and quality assurance.
- Basic Knowledge of ACAD and NAVISE. Advance knowledge will be an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working in the Middle East or similar environments.
- Knowledge of modular construction and advanced cladding technologies.
- Ability to manage workload under tight deadlines.
