Structural Cladding Engineer (Oil & Gas)

DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is looking for Structural Cladding Engineer in Doha, Qatar

Key Responsibilities

• Review structural and shop drawings for cladding installation.
• Quantity take off, initiate purchase requisition ensuring that all material and accessories including wastage has been considered.
• Coordinate with Procurement Team and vendor during procurement phase to ensure that all site requirements are captured in the purchase order.
• Coordinate with planning team to finalize schedule along with the required manpower, equipment, tools and tackle.
• Develop a detailed method statement for installation.
• Conduct site inspections, supervise installation works, and provide technical guidance to construction teams.
• Coordinate with site QC Engineer to arrange inspections as per approved ITP.
• Prepare markup drawing to track all changes and initiate As-Build drawing.
• Prepare detailed daily reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, piping, civil, and project management) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues during construction phase.
• Ensure adherence to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) requirementsacross all project stages.

Qualifications \& Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural engineering within the oil \& gas industry.
• Strong background in cladding design (metal, composite, and specialized industrial applications).
• Hands-on site engineering experience, including supervision and quality assurance.
• Basic Knowledge of ACAD and NAVISE. Advance knowledge will be an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working in the Middle East or similar environments.
• Knowledge of modular construction and advanced cladding technologies.
• Ability to manage workload under tight deadlines.
• Has valid QID
