HybridWhat you will do

This position will lead the deployment of key strategic programs for Asia Pacific (APAC) Essential Health and Skin Health Segment Operations like value creation and network optimization. This role will orchestrate parts of the segment performance management process and governance of projects impacting APAC segment Operations.

This individual will operate under strong collaboration with all functions in end-to-end Operations to ensure execution excellence in Segment Operations priorities as well as represent the segment in the APAC Digital Council.

Key responsibilities:

Strategic Program Management

  • Develops strong business cases and defines business benefits, investment requirements, execution strategy and timelines with the project leaders/relevant functions and stakeholders on manufacturing network siting for New Product Development, Reliability and Cost Improvement projects.
  • Presents business cases to APAC Operations Senior Management for project approval and to secure funding and resources to deliver program commitments.
  • Coordinate segment network taskforce meetings
  • Works with project management teams across functions to follow up on project execution and supports project team in risk sensing and problem solving.
  • Represent segment team in the APAC Digital Council, drive initiatives and processes to advance digital culture, adoption, and capability of the Essential Health \& Skin Health Operations team.
  • Track and support global reporting on segment APAC plastic sustainability initiatives.

Performance Management

  • Drives progress on the APAC Essential \& Skin Health Operations product touching savings projects vs. OKR in collaboration with APAC Supply Chain Excellence and end-to-end Supply Chain functional teams.

Product Life Cycle Management Governance

  • Streamlines decision making across Operations functions on Support of Marketed Products (SMP) projects and product-touching OPEX/CAPEX approvals for the segment.
  • Coordinate project governance of SMP projects and Innovation projects risk review among Segment Operations Leadership team to provide a comprehensive set of information and advice to Decision Maker.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. A degree in engineering, supply chain, or a relevant field is preferred. MBA or MS is a plus.
  • A minimum of 8 years of diverse experience with preferred exposure in the following related areas: Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain Planning, Quality, Finance.
  • An entrepreneurial self-starter with any combination of operations management, negotiation, financial or analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in project/program management process/cycle with strong follow up skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams is required.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed, global organization is critical for success.

Who Are You?

  • Experience in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) or regulated industry preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to act as a change agent and adapt to changing business and organizational dynamics is required.
  • Big picture orientation with ability to represent broader supply chain thinking balanced with attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. English speaking required.
