Staff, Product Manager - Member’s Mark Community & Product Development Enablement
Job Description

Position Summary...

As a Staff Product Manager on the Member’s Mark Community team, you will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for internal products, platforms, and operational capabilities that support community operations, research, insights generation, co-creation programs, and broader Member’s Mark product development processes.

This role will focus on building scalable platforms, workflows, automations, and integrations that enable the Member’s Mark organization to operate more efficiently, make better decisions, and deepen member co-creation across the product development lifecycle. You’ll balance short-term business needs with long-term platform strategy while driving prioritization, sequencing, tradeoff decisions, MVP definition, and iterative delivery across a complex and evolving ecosystem.

You’ll partner closely with research, product development, merchandising, engineering, design, analytics, and platform teams across Sam’s Club and Walmart to identify opportunities, define product vision and strategy, and deliver high-quality solutions that improve both associate and member experiences. This role requires strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder alignment skills to influence decisions and drive execution across highly cross-functional environments. What you'll do...

  • Define and own the roadmap for associate-facing Member’s Mark Community products and operational capabilities.
  • Partner with Member’s Mark research, merchandising, and product development teams to understand workflows, pain points, and unmet needs.
  • Build scalable tools, automations, and integrations that support community operations, insights management, co-creation programs, research operations, and product development processes.
  • Drive prioritization, sequencing, backlog management, MVP definition, and tradeoff decisions across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across business, engineering, analytics, operations, and enterprise platform teams.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage existing Walmart and third-party platforms instead of building custom solutions from scratch.
  • Collaborate closely with the member-facing Member’s Mark Community product team to ensure internal capabilities support community engagement and growth strategies.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights, customer research, and workflow discovery to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and measure business impact.
  • Lead product execution from discovery through delivery using iterative, Agile, and data-informed product development practices.
  • Influence stakeholders across multiple organizations and drive alignment in complex, ambiguous environments.
  • Help shape long-term platform and operational strategy for the broader Member’s Mark organization.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled research, insights, and workflow automation capabilities, to improve product experiences and operational effectiveness.
  • Champion thoughtful product craftsmanship by building intuitive, scalable experiences that reduce operational friction and improve usability for internal teams. About the team The Member’s Mark Community team is building the future of how Member’s Mark products are created, with members directly involved in shaping what comes next. The Member’s Mark Community is not simply a research tool — it is a key part of the Member’s Mark brand and operating model, with co-creation at the center of how products and experiences are developed. The team partners closely with Sam’s Club members and internal product development organizations to co-create products, gather insights, test concepts, and strengthen engagement with the Member’s Mark brand. Members help shape ideas, inform decisions, validate product experiences, and influence what ultimately goes to market. The team is focused on building scalable experiences and operational capabilities that improve how insights are collected, decisions are made, and products are brought to market. Current initiatives span member engagement, research operations, workflow tooling, AI-assisted insights, personalization, analytics, and enterprise integrations supporting the end-to-end co-creation process and the future evolution of the Member’s Mark organization. Whatyou'llbring...
  • Experience leading complex product initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong product strategy, roadmap ownership, and execution management skills.
  • Experience building internal platforms, workflow systems, operational tools, enterprise products, or highly cross-functional platform capabilities.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and storytelling skills, including experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Strong systems thinking and process optimization capabilities.
  • Experience using data, customer insights, and research to drive prioritization, product decisions, and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with Agile product development methodologies, MVP development, and iterative delivery practices.
  • Experience with platform ecosystems, integrations, APIs, or enterprise systems is a plus.
  • Retail, consumer products, community, insights, or research platform experience is a plus.
