Sr. Architect / Architect of Record (AOR)

Location: Khobar, Saudi Arabia

MSCEB is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Architect / Architect of Record (AOR) to join our growing team in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This role is essential to ensuring our architectural deliverables meet Saudi regulatory standards, and it also plays a key part in coordinating with local architectural partners to enhance our design and compliance capacity in the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate architectural design deliverables in alignment with project timelines and technical standards.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi regulatory authorities.
• Review, approve, and stamp design and construction documents as the AOR, where applicable.
• Liaise with local architectural firms to support MOU partnerships that expand our operational capacity and compliance posture.
• Participate in joint proposal preparation, especially for public-sector tenders, by leveraging local codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Provide technical advice and insights during business development and prequalification phases.

Qualifications \& Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural design and project delivery, with at least 3–5 years in Saudi Arabia.
• Registered / Licensed Architect in Saudi Arabia
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code, municipal regulations, and permitting procedures.
• Experience in stamping and approving design documents as AOR.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows, Revit, and collaborative design processes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in both Arabic and English.

• Based in or willing to relocate to Khobar, KSA.
• Strategic mindset with operational awareness and local market knowledge.
• Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to represent the company in technical meetings with clients, authorities, and JV partners.
