About the Role:
As a Solar Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining residential and small commercial solar PV and battery systems. You will work closely with our installation team to ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install residential and commercial solar PV systems.
* Install and commission battery storage systems.
* Perform inverter installations and replacements.
* Complete AC and DC wiring in accordance with Australian Standards.
* Carry out switchboard upgrades and electrical modifications where required.
* Test and commission completed systems.
* Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
* Ensure all installations comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
* Complete job documentation and photos after installation.
* Work collaboratively with installers and apprentices on site.
* Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers.
Essential Requirements:
* Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence.
* Experience in solar PV installations.
* Current White Card.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and safety practices.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Highly Desirable
* CEC Solar Accreditation.
* Battery installation and commissioning experience.
* Experience with GoodWe, FoxESS, Sungrow, Tesla, Sigenergy or similar products.
* Working at Heights certification.
* First Aid Certificate.
