Next Bend Media is a Southern Alberta–based creative agency delivering high-quality media services, including web development, video and photo production, branding, advertising, and strategic marketing support.

We work across multiple industries, including outdoor brands, construction companies, contractors, real estate, non-profits, and purpose-driven organizations.

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and technically capable Social Media Manager who understands strategy, execution, and accountability.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing client social media accounts from planning through publishing. This includes content creation (photo, video, and graphics), scheduling, caption writing, analytics tracking and reporting, and participating in on-site content days when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly content plans aligned with client goals
  • Write captions that reflect each client’s unique brand voice
  • Schedule and publish posts across Instagram, Facebook, and Eurostaffs
  • Photo editing and enhancement
  • Short-form video creation and editing (Reels / Shorts)
  • Create branded graphics and visual assets for social media campaigns
  • Coordinate and attend on-site content shoot days (local clients)
  • Track analytics and deliver monthly performance reports
  • Identify optimization opportunities
  • Maintain consistent and structured posting schedules

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and Eurostaffs platforms
  • Comfortable using video editing software (DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, or CapCut)
  • Comfortable using photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom)
  • Comfortable using graphic design tools (Affinity Designer, Adobe Illustrator, Canva)
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong understanding of brand consistency
  • Organized and process-driven
  • Able to plan ahead and execute independently
  • Professional communication skills with clients
  • Based in Southern Alberta (preferred)

Bonus Experience

  • Experience working with trades, contractors, or outdoor brands
  • Experience with scheduling platforms (Later, Hootsuite, Sprout, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
  • Understanding of paid social advertising
  • Familiarity with AI tools used in creative workflows (RunwayML, ElevenLabs, Higgsfield, etc.)

Compensation

Based on experience and contract structure.

This role may begin as a contract, part-time, or full-time position, depending on the candidate’s experience, availability, and overall fit.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $1,500.00-$4,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Lethbridge, AB
