Location: Ottawa, ON (On-Site with Some Work-From-Home Flexibility)
Employment Type: Full-Time Preferred (Part-Time Considered)

We are a fast-growing real estate media company based in Ottawa. We work with many of the city's top real estate professionals, helping them market their businesses through high-quality photo, video, and social media content. As we continue to grow, we're expanding our social media services and are looking for the right person to help us build and manage our online presence.

About the Role

We're looking for a Social Media Content Creator excited about growth and representing our company online. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves social media, enjoys being on camera, and wants to build a career creating content that reaches and influences thousands of people.

You don't need years of experience. We're primarily looking for someone with the right personality, strong communication skills, creativity, and a willingness to learn. We can teach the technical aspects of the role. We can't teach enthusiasm, initiative, and a genuine interest in creating great content.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with company leadership to develop and execute social media content strategies
  • Create engaging Instagram content including Reels, Stories, posts, and behind-the-scenes content
  • Appear on camera regularly as a representative of the company
  • Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and content opportunities
  • Plan, film, and coordinate content independently
  • Manage our social media channels and maintain a consistent posting schedule
  • Monitor comments, messages, and audience interactions
  • Help grow brand awareness, engagement, and audience reach
  • Track content performance and contribute ideas for continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, or other social platforms
  • Experience appearing on camera
  • Basic understanding of video production and editing
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and content planning
