The Site Surveyor is responsible for carrying out land, setting-out, and structural surveys to ensure the accurate positioning and execution of construction works. This role provides precise survey data to support project planning, design implementation, and construction activities while ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct topographical, boundary, setting-out, and as-built surveys for construction projects.
- Operate surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, auto levels, and other survey instruments to obtain accurate measurements.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings to support site execution.
- Establish and maintain site control points, benchmarks, and reference coordinates.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and subcontractors to ensure accurate setting-out, alignment, and elevation of construction works.
- Verify construction works against approved drawings, survey data, and project specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between design drawings and actual site conditions, recommending appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepare, maintain, and update survey records, reports, site sketches, and as-built documentation.
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with project requirements, quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Support project teams with survey-related technical advice throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in construction surveying or a similar role.
- Proficient in the use of surveying equipment, including Total Station, GPS/GNSS, and Auto Level.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings accurately.
- Experience in high-rise residential or mixed-development projects will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of construction surveying principles, setting-out procedures, and as-built surveys.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
