Shop Welder/ Fitter/Field Installer

Welder / Fabricator (1–2 Positions Available)

Our company is seeking 1–2 experienced Welder/Fabricators to join our team. We specialize in both miscellaneous and structural steel fabrication and installation, including handrails, staircases, fencing, awnings, structural columns, beams, and moment frames.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Welder/Fabricator or Field Installer
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficient in reading a measuring tape and layout work
• Experience working with stainless steel, aluminum, and structural steel
• Welding experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, and Dual Shield processes

Welder / Fabricator Responsibilities:

• Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies
• Fabricate and assemble components according to specifications
• Use tools such as straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers
• Must be able to pass a welding test
• Fitters must be able to pass a blueprint reading test

Field Installer Responsibilities:

• Perform a combination of shop fabrication and field installation
• Operate equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts
• Complete installations safely and efficiently in the field
• Troubleshoot and solve problems to ensure job completion

Required Experience:

• Welding and/or Field Installation: Minimum 2 years

Pay: $20.49 - $30.70 per hour
