About the Role

MSC Cruises is seeking experienced Plumbers to join our technical team onboard. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing and piping systems across the ship, including water supply, sewage, drainage, and auxiliary systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all plumbing and piping systems onboard
• Diagnose and resolve issues with water supply, sewage, drainage, and pipeline systems
• Maintain pumps, valves, sanitary equipment, and auxiliary systems
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance according to vessel maintenance plans
• Assist the engineering department with repairs and maintenance of shipboard equipment
• Comply with all safety standards and company technical requirements
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and reports
• Ensure all equipment remains in proper working condition at all times

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Plumber onboard ships OR in a hotel / large facility maintenance environment
• Experience on cruise ships, passenger vessels, Ro-Pax, or ferries is a strong advantage
• STCW certification (preferred but not mandatory)
• Certificate of Competency Reg. III/5 or Reg. III/4 (preferred but not mandatory)
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, pipelines, pumps, valves, and water supply equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
• Ability to work in an international team environment
• Willingness to work under pressure and with flexible / irregular schedules
• Good physical condition
• Responsible, disciplined, and team-oriented
• No bad habits
