Shift Manager - Warehouse

Pay Rate: £36,000 to £39,610

Grade: M

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7, 7am to 3pm \& 3pm to 11pm (Rotational Shift)

Location: Coventry, CV2 2TA

✅WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Supervise the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve Operational Standards and defined outcomes for your responsibility area / shift approach.
• Identify and bring new standards to operation.
• Have clear understanding of Objectives \& KPIs applicable to your position and to your team
• Communicate Roles \& Responsibilities applicable to your team (coordinators) and ensure they are trained and prepared to execute the expected activities
• Develop your TDM according to your Roles \& Responsibilities and aligned to the TDM of your team. Validate it with your immediate leader
• Approve the TDM of your team (coordinators) and ensure they can deliver their Roles \& Responsibilities with it
• Update Daily resource planning for next shift, based on latest volume and volume profile information

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous First Line / Shift Manager experience is Essential
• Strong leadership experience is Essential
• IT Literate, with Microsoft Office Packages, Excel
• Have strong operational knowledge of logistics and warehousing
• Have a strategic mindset and a passion for problem-solving.
• You're a natural leader with excellent communication skills, able to inspire and engage your team
