Role overview
We are looking for a SharePoint Administrator to join one of our public sector clients based in Warsaw. You'll be responsible for keeping SharePoint farms and related services running smoothly across multiple environments - production, testing, and development.
Requirements The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Administering SharePoint farms, SharePoint Online, and related services.
- Maintaining SharePoint servers and managing patch cycles.
- Acting as 2nd line support - processing tickets, troubleshooting incidents, and keeping request statuses up to date.
- Architecting long-term changes to SharePoint platforms.
- Running deployments of developer-delivered solutions.
- Liaising with developer teams to align topologies and configurations with project needs.
- Coordinating with other administrators to harmonise solutions and processes.
- Maintaining system documentation and contributing to specifications for new solutions.
- Reporting on activities to the supervisor.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- At least 5+ years of IT experience and 3+ years in a SharePoint administration role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- Deep practical knowledge of SharePoint on-premises and SharePoint Online.
- Experience administering complex, distributed SharePoint farms - including optimisation, tuning, and capacity planning.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange, Azure AD, Logic Apps).
- Experience building hybrid solutions with O365, particularly SharePoint Hybrid.
- Hands-on experience with IIS-based deployments and SharePoint patch management.
- Solid troubleshooting skills across large-scale distributed environments.
- Basic knowledge of other Microsoft systems administration.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to adapt to fast-changing technologies.
- English B2 level certification or higher.
Nice to have:
- Proficiency with the ShareGate Migration Tool.
- Experience installing and administering Netcompany's GetOrganized ECM.
- Experience deploying .sppkg files to the App Catalog.
- Strong understanding of OIDC and SAML 2.0 authentication flows.
- Experience managing SSL certificates and metadata exchange between Service Provider and Identity Provider.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based change, configuration, and release management and ticketing systems.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory tiering model.
- Experience working in restricted/classified environments.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (or equivalent).
- Azure Administrator Associate (or equivalent).
- Advanced Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint 2013 (or equivalent).
