As a senior security advisor, you help develop and optimize security measures to align with corporate objectives by planning, implementing and overseeing best practices to strengthen Desjardins's security posture. You help develop the Desjardins Group Security Office's priorities and governance, and work on different aspects of our security practices. You're responsible for one or more sub-specialties, such as personal information and data protection, information security, physical security and financial crime and fraud prevention. You lead practitioners on development projects and innovative, complex, cross-sector strategic initiatives related to security. You help develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions. Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge in your field of expertise. You make recommendations on the development and execution of projects and initiatives with a very high degree of operational and conceptual complexity. You use your analytical skills and comprehensive, in-depth understanding of your line of business and the organization. Coordination is critical as you are interacting with many stakeholders working in a wide range of fields. Interpersonal skills are therefore essential. You serve as an expert advisor and subject matter expert, as well as a resource person and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to :
