Role mission:
Reporting to the Presales leadership team, the selected person will act as the technical bridge between enterprise clients and engineering teams, leading the design of cloud-native application architectures and driving presales strategy for large-scale transformation projects.
You will play a key role in identifying client needs, shaping technical solutions and contributing directly to winning high-impact opportunities in application development and modernization.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the technical presales strategy for opportunities related to custom software development, application modernization and systems integration.
- Understand client challenges and translate business needs into scalable, secure and efficient solution architectures.
- Design modern application architectures (microservices, event-driven, serverless, API-based) aligned with business objectives.
- Define end-to-end solution strategies, including delivery models, DevSecOps practices and implementation roadmaps.
- Participate in the full sales cycle (RFI, RFP, PoC, proposals), contributing to solution definition, estimation and pricing.
- Estimate effort, define team structures (Agile squads) and build viable commercial models (Fixed Price, T\&M, capacity-based).
- Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions and solution presentations with stakeholders up to C-level (CIO, VP Engineering, etc.).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Cloud, Data/AI, Security) to deliver integrated and cohesive solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor for both clients and internal teams, contributing to thought leadership and reusable presales assets.
What we are looking for:
- 7–10+ years of experience in the IT sector, with a strong technical foundation (Software Engineer, Tech Lead, Application Architect or similar).
- At least 4 years of experience in presales, IT consulting or client-facing roles within enterprise environments (private sector).
- Proven experience participating in and winning complex deals related to software development or application modernization (projects above €500K).
- Strong background in software architecture and modern development practices.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud-native environments (Azure, AWS or GCP) and container-based architectures.
- Experience with modern development stacks (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python) and frontend technologies.
- Solid understanding of integration patterns, APIs and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
- High level of English (C1+) and Spanish.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Commercial mindset, with the ability to balance technical solutions with budget and business constraints.
Nice to have:
- Experience integrating AI/ML or Generative AI solutions into enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of low-code platforms (Power Platform, OutSystems, PEGA).
- Understanding of modern data architectures and high-performance data environments.
- Experience working with structured proposal methodologies.
- Relevant certifications in Cloud, Architecture, Agile or Kubernetes.
