What You Will Do
- Lead and supervise a team of 4–5 to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and revenue recognition for long-term service contracts.
- Oversee credit control activities and collaborate with Customer Support and headquarters on credit-related matters.
- Lead month-end closing activities including revenue recognition, cost accounting, provisions, WIP analysis, and financial reporting.
- Review sales forecasts and cost of sales, and analyze actual performance against budget.
- Drive margin improvement initiatives and identify cost savings and invoice cost reduction opportunities.
- Partner with functional leaders to support business and strategic objectives.
- Oversee SOX testing, internal audits, and statutory audits to ensure financial and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor, motivate, and develop finance team members.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CPA preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
- Experience managing teams and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of contractual terms related to billing and cost accounting.
- Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
