Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure \& Network Manager to lead the design, implementation, optimization, security, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure and network environment.

The role will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, reliability, and security of LAN/WAN networks, servers, systems, and enterprise IT solutions. The successful candidate will manage infrastructure projects, resolve complex technical issues, implement cybersecurity controls, develop IT procedures, and ensure that technology solutions support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, implementation, and optimization of LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and performance of network systems, servers, and enterprise IT solutions.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and business continuity.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution of escalated hardware, software, server, and network incidents.
• Monitor network and system performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
• Manage IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations, technology rollouts, and infrastructure improvements.
• Configure and manage network devices, firewalls, routing, switching, and related infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity standards, controls, monitoring, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure appropriate protection of company systems, networks, applications, and data.
• Conduct capacity planning, system performance analysis, and infrastructure optimization.
• Review and approve system configurations, infrastructure changes, and preventive maintenance plans.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), network diagrams, system records, and IT operational workflows.
• Establish and maintain effective IT support, maintenance, backup, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and technology partners when required.
• Provide technical guidance and support for complex infrastructure and network-related issues.
• Train and mentor IT Engineers, Technicians, and other technical staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of business information and ensure appropriate data security practices.
• Support business requirements by evaluating and recommending appropriate IT infrastructure and technology solutions.
• Ensure IT services remain available and operational during urgent, exceptional, or unscheduled tasks.

Other Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with applicable IT policies, procedures, security standards, and organizational requirements.
• Participate in audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, systems administration, or a related field.
• Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and network environments.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac server/client environments.
• Relevant professional certifications in networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, or cloud technologies are an advantage.

Language Requirements

• English: Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Arabic: Preferred / required according to business requirements.

Special Conditions

• The position may require availability to support urgent, exceptional, or unscheduled IT infrastructure tasks to ensure continuity and availability of critical services.
• Occasional work outside normal working hours may be required for planned maintenance, upgrades, migrations, or critical incidents.
• Equivalent education, training, certifications, or relevant professional experience may be considered where appropriate.

Pay: QAR10,000.00 per month
