We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Hairdresser to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling, exceptional customer service skills, and a professional approach to sanitation and safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to a welcoming salon environment.

The hairdresser is engaged as an independent contractor and is compensated on a commission basis.

Duties

• Provide high-quality hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to client preferences
• Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
• Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene standards in all workstations and tools to ensure client safety
• Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products suited to clients' hair types and needs
• Upsell additional services or products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and professional demeanor
• Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hairdresser with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating diverse styling skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety regulations within a salon environment
• Ability to upsell products and services effectively while maintaining integrity and professionalism
• Strong retail sales skills with the ability to recommend suitable products for clients’ hair types
• Experience managing front desk operations including appointment scheduling and payment processing
• Professional appearance with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Certification or licensing as required by local regulations
