Job Description

JOB TITLE:

Senior Executive/Asst. Manager - Sales

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT: Highly motivated and results-oriented Executive to join AMPP sales team. He will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing network and strategic partnerships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES:

Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitive threats in the lubricants, batteries, automotive aftermarket maintenance parts industry.

Channel Development: Develop, maintain and grow a robust network of channel partners – B2B, Wholesale and Retail segment

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements with customers and partners to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, product offerings, and technical specifications to effectively communicate product benefits and features to customers.

Training and Development: Provide training, guidance, and support to channel partners and dealer network to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance.

Inventory Planning Support: Provide inputs based on market developments to evolve inventory and pricing strategies.

Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for management review, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB:

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field.

BE / MBA preferred.

Proven track record of success in lubricants, batteries, aftermarket parts sales or a related industry, with at least 3-5 years of experience.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Oman / GCC driving licence preferred.

Ability and willingness to travel as needed.

AGE

Below 35 years

EXPERIENCE

Experience in Oman automobile market (commodities / aftermarket segment) preferred

SKILLS \& ABILITIES

Proven track record in sales.

Technical knowledge of lubricants, batteries and related products is a plus

KNOWLEDGE

Basic knowledge of automobile lubricants, batteries and maintenance parts
