IT Project Manager-Healthcare

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in the Healthcare domain to lead and deliver technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing end-to-end IT projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery while complying with healthcare regulations and industry standards. Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR), healthcare interoperability, and Agile project methodologies is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of IT healthcare projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and healthcare professionals.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other applicable standards.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Track project progress using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or ServiceNow.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Collaborate with QA, Infrastructure, Security, and Development teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Support production deployments, release planning, and post-implementation reviews.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations.
• Ensure projects meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• 8+ years of Healthcare IT project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with EHR/EMR implementations or healthcare applications.
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical business processes.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Required Healthcare Knowledge:

• Healthcare payer and/or provider domain experience.
• HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy regulations.
• Healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems.
• Healthcare claims processing.
• Patient management systems.
• Clinical workflows.
• Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
• Healthcare data exchange and integrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP certification.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP certification.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of APIs, REST services, and system integrations.
• Experience with healthcare analytics or reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
• Experience managing offshore/onshore teams.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
