We’re looking for an internal communications super star, with a broad communications skillset. The successful candidate will start the role brimming with ideas about how to advance our internal communications programme, and with the skills and experience to make it happen.
This is a fast-paced role where you will manage a regular schedule of content for internal communications platforms including all staff emails, Slack and intranet (Point).
You will also be charged with embedding our newly refreshed intranet as a core communication channel and identifying and executing opportunities to improve the platform.
Although internal comms will be your focus, you’ll also be comfortable being pulled into other activities, including triaging media enquiries, presenting to Lotto NZ leadership and assisting our big winners.
We are a small but high performing team of five, that looks after all areas of corporate communications for Lotto NZ. This includes media and government relations; public relations; corporate and statutory reporting; internal communications; our winners’ experience; sharing our grant recipient stories; major projects and crisis communications.
While we all have our specific areas of responsibility and expertise, we have a ‘roll up your sleeves’ mind set and jump in where the work needs doing to support each other and the business.
As an experienced communications operator with a passion for internal communications, you will have experience planning and developing communications content for a variety of internal and external audiences.
You will know how to engage an internal audience through past experience creating content in Point or a similar intranet platform.
You will bring an innovative approach, great relationship building skills, and the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders.
