Niche Trading W.L.L. is looking for an experienced and highly capable Senior Accountant / Cost \& Financial Accountant to join our team in Qatar.

We are looking for a hands-on accountant who can independently manage the accounting requirements of a trading and distribution company and has strong experience in costing, landed cost, inventory, profitability analysis and financial control.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare accurate landed cost calculations for imported products, including purchase cost, freight, customs, clearance, transportation and other related charges.

* Calculate and monitor product cost, selling price, gross profit, gross margin and net profitability by SKU, brand, customer and channel.

* Review pricing and margins and identify products or transactions with incorrect costing, low margins or losses.

* Handle complete Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, customer and supplier reconciliations, ageing reports and follow-up of outstanding balances.

* Prepare Statements of Account (SOA) and perform regular customer, supplier and ledger reconciliations.

* Handle banking transactions, bank reconciliations, payments, transfers, LC/TT documentation and banking-related accounting activities.

* Record and control invoices, purchase orders, receipts, payments, credit notes, debit notes, returns and adjustments.

* Maintain accurate inventory accounting and reconcile physical stock, system stock and financial stock values.

* Manage month-end and year-end accounting processes, including accruals, provisions, reconciliations and closing entries.

* Prepare Profit \& Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Trial Balance, ageing, inventory valuation and management reports.

* Support budgeting, cash-flow forecasting and financial analysis for management.

* Ensure accurate VAT/tax-related records and compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.

* Coordinate professionally with auditors, banks, suppliers, customers and internal departments.

* Maintain proper documentation and ensure that all accounting records are complete, traceable and audit-ready.

Required Skills \& Experience

* Minimum 5 years of solid accounting experience, preferably within FMCG, beauty, retail, trading, distribution or import/export companies.

* Strong practical experience in Cost Accounting and Landed Costing is essential.

* Excellent knowledge of Tally.

* Good working knowledge of Odoo ERP, particularly Accounting, Purchase, Sales and Inventory modules.

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, reconciliation models, costing sheets and financial analysis.

* Strong understanding of inventory accounting, COGS, gross margin, profitability and stock valuation.

* Strong experience in bank reconciliation, AR/AP, customer/supplier reconciliation and month-end closing.

* Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate differences independently rather than simply recording transactions.

* Strong attention to detail, accuracy and financial control.

* Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and take ownership of the accounting function.

We do not need only a data-entry accountant.

We need an experienced accountant who understands the numbers behind the business — someone who can determine the true cost of every product, monitor margins and profitability, control receivables and payables, reconcile inventory and banks, identify financial discrepancies and provide management with accurate financial information for decision-making.

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
