The Security Guard is responsible for protecting the company's property, assets, employees, contractors, and visitors by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, controlling access to facilities, operating surveillance systems, responding to incidents and emergencies, enforcing security policies and procedures, reporting suspicious activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations to prevent loss, damage, or unauthorized access.
Requirements
- High school diploma from an accredited institution.
- Able to read and write in English.
- Relevant experience of not less than one (1) year.
- Possession of a valid GTS Certificate.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures and protocols.
- Strong surveillance and observation skills with attention to detail.
- Proven work experience as a Security Guard or in a similar position.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Initiative and commitment to achieve objectives.
- Physically fit and capable of working shifts and responding to emergency situations.
