THE ROLE

We're looking for an enthusiastic and people-oriented Sales Consultant to be the first point of contact for our customers. Working fully remotely, you'll help prospective divers find the right course or experience, convert enquiries into bookings, and build lasting relationships that keep customers coming back for their next certification or dive trip.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Respond to phone, email, and live chat enquiries with energy and product knowledge

- Guide customers through course options, pricing, and scheduling to match their goals and experience level

- Achieve individual booking and revenue targets

- Process enrolments and payments accurately using our booking system

- Upsell equipment packages, merchandise, and dive experiences where appropriate

- Maintain and follow up on leads through our CRM

- Collaborate with our in-centre team to ensure smooth customer handovers

- Represent Abyss Scuba online and within dive communities where relevant

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Proven experience in a sales, customer service, or hospitality role

- A genuine passion for the ocean, diving, or outdoor adventure (dive certification is a bonus but not essential — we can help with that!)

- Excellent communication skills — confident on the phone and over email

- A goal-oriented mindset with the drive to meet and exceed targets

- Self-motivated and reliable working independently from home

- Australian resident with full working rights

- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace

- Proficiency with basic computer systems; CRM experience is advantageous
