We’re seeking a motivated Sales Representative to represent Formation Lights at this year's 2026 Fieldays. This role involves engaging with customers, promoting our premium interior lighting products, and building strong relationships. The ideal candidate is confident, personable, and a fast learner—able to quickly understand and communicate lighting and basic electrical information to customers while driving sales.

The right candidate must be based in the North Island of New Zealand. Flights, accommodation and food for the 4 days of the show will be provided. Will be a great opportunity for a student to gain real-world experience.

• A person who has previous experience in retail or sales
• Strong communication and people skills
• Confident in engaging with a wide range of customers
• Fast learner with the ability to absorb technical lighting/electrical information quickly
• Sales-driven mindset with a focus on results
• Ability to build rapport and long-term customer relationships
• Professional, well-presented, and reliable
• Interest or background in design, interiors, or lighting (advantageous but not essential)

Payment

Pay will be $25 per hour, with an additional $25 commission per sale made
