Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all HSE activities across multiple water infrastructure, Water Treatment, Desalination, Wastewater Treatment projects.
Develop and implement project-specific HSE plans, policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
Ensure compliance with Bahrain HSE regulations, client specifications, ISO standards, and international safety practices.
Establish a proactive safety culture through regular safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
Conduct project risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), HIRA, and implement mitigation measures.
Monitor site safety inspections, audits, and compliance assessments.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities on HSE matters.
Ensure statutory compliance, permit-to-work systems, confined space entry, lifting operations, excavation safety, electrical safety, and work-at-height requirements.
Monitor environmental compliance including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.
Lead emergency preparedness drills and crisis management activities.
Develop HSE KPIs and present periodic reports to senior management.
Mentor and manage site safety managers, safety officers, and HSE engineers.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve Zero Harm objectives.
