Risk Analyst

Risk Analyst - (2600002W)Description Job Summary: This role will support the effective operation of the company’s risk management framework by assisting with the development, maintenance, and reporting of key risk management activities. Through strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and effective collaboration across the business, the role plays an important part in embedding a strong risk culture and ensuring timely, accurate risk oversight. Job Duties:* Support with the preparation, review and update of risk management policies, procedures and ORSA reports * Assist with maintenance of the risk register to ensure that all relevant risks and controls are captured and assessed regularly * Monitor performance against risk appetite statements, helping to ensure that remedial action is taken where appetite is breached * Assist with the preparation of risk reports and dashboards for presentation at Risk Management and Board Committee meetings * Support with the identification and mitigation of key and emerging risks * Contribute to periodic risk and control reviews * Assist with the completion of regulatory risk and exposure management returns * Support with the Company’s greenhouse gas emissions reporting obligations * Support the risk management function on risk related projects and initiatives * Contribute towards a strong risk culture.

Qualifications Job Requirements:* Undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline with a 2.1 or higher * 2 years financial services experience preferred * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail * Effective problem solver with excellent numerical ability * Ability to plan work, manage time effectively, and work to tight deadlines * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to develop effective working relationships across the business * Self-motivated, able to work across teams while managing multiple priorities * Strong Microsoft Office capabilities
