Le-Ta-Su is a Japanese individual shabu-shabu hotpot concept and we're opening our first outlet in Sunway Pyramid.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily outlet operations across opening and closing shifts, ensuring smooth service flow for solo-hotpot dining (individual stove setup, broth quality, ingredient freshness, table turnover).
- Achieve outlet sales targets, control food cost and labour cost against budget, and manage petty cash and daily sales reconciliation.
- Own the weekly staff roster across all positions, ensuring adequate FOH and kitchen coverage during peak periods.
- Monitor and enforce food safety, hygiene, and individual-pot sanitation standards (raw meat/seafood handling, broth replenishment, equipment cleaning between covers).
- Recruit, train, and develop Assistant Store Manager, Supervisors, and crew; conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary matters.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery to protect the brand's reputation.
- Conduct daily briefings, ensure SOP compliance, and drive continuous improvement in service speed and quality.
- Manage stock ordering, inventory counts, and supplier coordination to minimise wastage and stockouts.
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety, fire safety, and local licensing requirements.
- Report outlet performance and operational issues to the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' F\&B operations experience, with at least 1-2 years in a store/restaurant manager role.
- Experience in Japanese dining, hotpot/shabu-shabu, or casual dining chains an advantage.
- Strong leadership, roster planning, and team management skills.
- Working knowledge of food cost, labour cost, and P\&L management at outlet level.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations in Malaysia.
- Diploma in Hospitality/F\&B Management or equivalent working experience.
- Willing to work rotational shifts including weekends and public holidays.
Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
