Key Responsibilities

1. Pricing & Tender Management

  • Develop pricing structures and cost models in line with trade lane economics, carrier/agent rates, and commercial guidelines.
  • Liaise with Pricing, Trade Lane, Product, and Procurement teams to obtain and validate freight rates, surcharges, and value-added service costs.
  • Consolidate tender responses, build bid summaries, and support win/loss analysis to refine future pricing strategy.
  • Ensure pricing and tender documentation complies with DSV governance, approval matrices, and contractual standards.

2. Business Implementation & Reporting

  • Support the end-to-end implementation of newly awarded business, coordinating with Operations, Customer Service, and IT to ensure smooth onboarding and SOP handover.
  • Track implementation milestones and follow up on action items to ensure awarded business goes live on schedule and as per agreed scope.
  • Prepare and maintain regular performance and volume reports for awarded Global and Regional accounts, highlighting trends, gaps, and improvement areas.
  • Maintain accurate account data, rate cards, and contractual records in CRM and relevant systems (e.g., MS Dynamics).
  • Identify implementation risks or service gaps early and escalate to the relevant Global/Regional Key Account Manager and stakeholders.

3. Business Reviews & Account Support

  • Support the preparation of materials for business reviews (monthly/quarterly/annual) with Global and Regional Oil & Gas accounts, including performance dashboards, KPI scorecards, and commercial summaries.
  • Assist Global/Regional Key Account Managers in conducting business reviews, capturing action points, opportunities, and risks raised by customers.
  • Analyze account performance against contractual KPIs and budget, providing insights and recommendations to support account growth and retention.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure follow-up actions from business reviews are tracked and closed out in a timely manner.

4. Stakeholder Coordination & Governance

  • Act as a key point of coordination between Commercial, Pricing, Operations, and Finance for Oil & Gas vertical accounts.
  • Support alignment across Global and Regional teams on pricing strategy, tender pipeline, and account performance.
  • Maintain organized documentation and audit trails for pricing submissions, contracts, and business review materials.

5. General

  • Support ad-hoc analysis, market intelligence gathering, and competitor benchmarking for the Oil & Gas vertical.
  • Perform any other job-related tasks as assigned by the superior.
  • Adhere to DSV Code of Conduct and corporate policies.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret pricing, volume, and performance data.
  • High proficiency in pricing/costing methodology and tender management processes within freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Good understanding of Oil & Gas supply chain requirements, including project cargo, hazardous goods, and HSE considerations (preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tenders/accounts under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage confidently with Global/Regional stakeholders and senior management.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a cross-functional, matrixed team.
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer focus.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis, modeling, and reporting; familiarity with CRM/pricing systems is an advantage.
