EVM IRL is a specialist passenger vehicle sales and aftersales business serving customers across Ireland. We supply minibus, midicoach and specialist passenger transport solutions to private operators, public bodies, community transport providers and other fleet customers.
Our approach is built around long-term customer relationships, strong product knowledge and dependable support throughout the vehicle lifecycle. As the Irish business continues to grow, we are strengthening the commercial team based at our Kilbeggan operation.
The Role .
Reporting to the Area Sales Manager - Ireland, this is a development role combining hands-on sales support and administration with a clear route into a customer-facing sales career.
The successful candidate will work closely with the ASM, supporting customer enquiries, quotations, follow-up activity and sales administration. As product knowledge, confidence and commercial capability develop, the role will progressively expand to include prospecting, customer meetings, ownership of selected accounts and independent sales opportunities.

As the PSV Junior Sales Executive, your job role will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Carry out structured outbound prospecting activity to identify and create new sales opportunities across the Irish PSV, minibus and passenger transport market.
- Research and identify prospective customers using EVM's CRM and customer database, external data sources, industry information, marketing campaigns and market intelligence.
- Proactively contact existing, lapsed and prospective customers by telephone and email to understand their fleets, vehicle replacement cycles, upcoming requirements and purchasing plans.
- Follow up inbound enquiries and marketing-generated leads promptly, ensuring every viable opportunity is contacted, qualified and progressed.
- Qualify potential opportunities by establishing the customer requirement, fleet profile, likely timescale, decision-making process, key contacts and appropriate next action.
- Nurture early-stage prospects through planned and persistent follow-up until there is a genuine sales opportunity for EVM to progress.
- Generate qualified leads and arrange customer meetings, demonstrations and follow-up activity for the Area Sales Manager, providing a clear CRM record and commercial brief.
- Work to agreed prospecting and lead-generation KPIs, including outbound activity, meaningful customer conversations, qualified opportunities, meetings generated and pipeline development.
- Support the Area Sales Manager with the day-to-day management of customer enquiries, quotations and sales opportunities
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound telephone, email and website sales enquiries.
- Prepare quotations, vehicle specifications and supporting sales information using agreed pricing and company procedures.
- Follow up quotations and open opportunities to ensure customers receive timely responses and agreed next actions are completed.
- Maintain accurate customer, lead, opportunity and quotation information within EVM's CRM and business systems.
- Coordinate internally with Operations, Production, Aftersales, Finance and other departments to progress customer requirements and vehicle orders.
- Support order processing and maintain accurate sales documentation from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover.
- Assist with sales pipeline reporting, customer meeting preparation and follow-up actions.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of EVM's vehicle range, applications, options, specifications and customer propositions.
- Carry out proactive customer follow-up and prospecting activity to identify future replacement cycles and new sales opportunities.
- Attend customer meetings, demonstrations, exhibitions and industry events alongside the Area Sales Manager as part of the development programme.
- Progressively take responsibility for selected customers and sales opportunities as knowledge and competence develop.
- Provide market and competitor feedback to the wider sales and marketing team and support targeted commercial campaigns in Ireland.
- Maintain a high standard of customer communication, organisation and commercial discipline at all times.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Previous experience in sales, telesales, business development, customer service or account support is desirable; full product and sector training will be provided.
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in sales, business development and customer account management.
- Confidence making proactive outbound telephone calls and starting conversations with prospective customers, including people who are not already actively looking to buy.
- The resilience and persistence to follow up prospects consistently, handle rejection professionally and continue building a pipeline over time.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage professionally with customers by telephone, email and face-to-face.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities.
- Good IT skills and confidence learning CRM, quotation and business management systems.
- A commercially minded, proactive approach with the confidence to follow up opportunities and ask for business.
- An interest in automotive, commercial vehicles, passenger transport or technical products would be advantageous, but is not essential.
- A full driving licence and willingness to travel within Ireland as the role develops.
Development Opportunity:
This is intended as a progression role, not a static sales position. As competence develops, responsibility will expand from customer response, quotations and CRM support into prospecting, customer visits, selected accounts and independent sales opportunities, with the objective of progressing towards an Area Sales Manager role.

- Starting Salary €35,000 to €38,000 DOE
- Commission structure for sales contribution.
- Hours Monday to Thursday 8am to 5 pm, Friday 8am to 3pm.
