Project Architect

Experience Required: 7–8 years total experience, including a minimum of 5 years in the UAE

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our team and lead the design development and project delivery of high-end luxury residential projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong architectural background, extensive experience in luxury villas and residential developments, and a deep understanding of interior finishes, detailing, and construction quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design development from concept through construction documentation and site execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, authority requirements, and industry standards.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and design coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
• Review material selections, interior finishes, and architectural details to ensure alignment with design intent and quality expectations.
• Conduct site visits, monitor construction progress, and resolve technical issues during execution.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and samples related to architectural and interior works.
• Support value engineering initiatives while maintaining design quality and project objectives.
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to team development.

Qualifications \& Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (required).
• 7–8 years of professional architectural experience.
• Minimum 5 years of architectural experience within the UAE.
• Proven experience delivering luxury residential projects, including high-end villas and bespoke residences.
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, construction methods, and building systems.
• Extensive experience with interior finishes, materials, specifications, and luxury fit-out detailing is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of UAE authority approval processes and local regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of BIM workflows is preferred.
• Excellent project coordination, communication, and client management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to design excellence.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience working on premium residential developments for private clients or luxury developers.
• Strong understanding of luxury materials, bespoke detailing, and high-quality execution standards.
• Site supervision and construction administration experience.
• Ability to coordinate architectural and interior design requirements seamlessly.
