Post Summary: The Student Counselling Services (SCS) seek to recruit a part-time Project Administrator.
As part of the university’s new strategic plan, Thrive (2025-2030), the Director of the Student Counselling Services is accountable for leading Project 3.4 “A socially connected university”. The focus of this role will be to work with the Director of the Student Counselling Services, the SCS Strategic Development Manager and the rest of the project team on the Thrive 3.4 Project, providing essential project co-ordination and administrative support. The post-holder will also provide project support to other projects across the Student Counselling Services.
This role requires a flexible approach to working hours at peak periods of the project, and to support student meetings/events outside of normal working hours.
Post status: Specific Purpose Contract**
*** The specific purpose of this employment is to provide essential project co-ordination and administrative support to the Director of the Student Counselling Services, the SCS Strategic Development Manager, and their nominees while they are working on the Thrive 3.4 project. The post-holder may also be asked to provide project support to other projects across the Student Counselling Services. Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis, as your role is tied to these specific project activities and deliverables which are expected to be completed within a defined period. This role is linked to limited external funding for this support to be provided to the Director of the Student Counselling Services, the SCS Strategic Development Manager, and their nominees during to their time of working on this part of the project. Therefore, termination of this contract will occur upon completion of the work in which you are engaged, or if the funding stream is terminated or withdrawn*
Hours of Post: Part-Time (0.6 FTE)
Salary: This appointment will be made on the pro-rated Administrative 3 Salary Scale (€47,374 - €59,254 per annum pro-rata) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
