Job description

  • To understand and execute the Project base on ITB requirement and to ensure the overall project work execution are in accordance to relevant ISO Procedure, Project standard working Procedure and Quality Management System.
  • To coordinate, and monitor the document/drawing submission and approval process, and make sure timely submission and approval.
  • To arrange a project kick-off meeting among manager and engineer involves in project execution and explain generally the scope of work requirements as specified in the final Contract Document, Organization, Line of Communication, Project Document etc. Periodical to conduct meetings particular Project personnel and/with Client whenever required.
  • To prepare and establish the Overall Project Schedule and identify critical work activities and analyze the project progress versus project schedule planned on regular basis in order to meet project schedule requirements.
  • To monitor, control and analyze overall project progress for each work category and take proper and immediate action as required. Inform all relevant parties to take immediate action once any possible delay identified.
  • To coordinate, and monitor the document/drawing submission and approval process, and make sure timely submission and approval.
  • To prepare summary and detail costing/ working budget for the project and present to management for approval.
  • To verify any work progress claim and invoices received from Consultant, Subcontractor \& Vendors etc. Also to advise Finance Department on any billing of work progress, claim etc. to Client.
  • Obtains all necessary Client approval.
  • Detail review, verify and endorsed major purchase of equipment/ material/ Requisition/ Subcontract/ Purchase Order include overall contract document.
  • To execute the project by leading a team of Engineering Manager, Procurement Manager, Project Controller, Construction Manager and Commissioning Manager.
  • To work with group of project engineer/superintendent, and lead group of supervisors for construction.
  • To coordinate and manage to produce test pack/loop pack and conduct commissioning and turnover through commissioning and turnover team.
  • To produce progress claim according to the progress milestone.
  • To produce on Change Notice preparation and Variation Order if there is any

Qualifications \& Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in civil, structural and infrastructure works for sizable development projects.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale developments (township, industrial, infrastructure, or mixed-use projects).
  • Strong technical knowledge in civil, structural and infrastructure design and construction.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian standards, authority requirements and construction practices.
  • Excellent leadership, coordination and communication skills.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
