A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Program Lead – New Developments reporting to Senior Manager New Developments Delivery.
A bit about your role
The Program Lead for New Developments provides senior leadership across multiple delivery streams, overseeing end‑to‑end program performance and ensuring outcomes are met across SD1, SD2, DFL and On‑Demand Delivery. The role operates above individual projects, setting direction, governing performance, managing interdependencies and proactively addressing risks, priorities and contractual commitments. It leads delivery partners, drives consistent ways of working, and uses data, analytics and single‑source‑of‑truth reporting to uplift performance and enable executive visibility.
The Program Lead acts as a subject matter expert for complex issues, manages escalations, oversees financial and commercial risks, and drives continuous improvement, automation and operational efficiency across the entire New Developments portfolio.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate is a senior delivery leader with experience operating at a program or portfolio level in large, complex or regulated environments. They have a strong track record leading multiple concurrent delivery streams, managing governance, risk and performance, and influencing cross‑functional teams and external partners. They bring strong data literacy, using dashboards and insights to drive decisions, along with solid commercial and financial acumen.
They communicate confidently with senior stakeholders, apply continuous improvement thinking, and translate insights into scalable change. Experience in large‑scale infrastructure, utilities, construction or telecommunications is highly regarded.
