PROFESSOR (DEAN / HEAD OF CAMPUS) DEAN’S OFFICE, UNIKL BIS

KEY ROLES :

• Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the campus/faculty in alignment with the University’s vision, mission, strategic objectives, and institutional priorities.
• Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of campus/faculty strategic plans, annual operating plans, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and performance targets.
• Oversee the implementation of academic policies, procedures, quality standards, and governance requirements across the campus/faculty.
• Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with industry, government agencies, professional bodies, academic institutions, and other external stakeholders.
• Drive research, publication, consultancy, innovation, commercialisation, and income-generating activities within the campus/faculty.
• Monitor campus/faculty financial performance, resource utilisation, budgeting, expenditure, and cost-effectiveness in accordance with approved policies and financial guidelines.
• Ensure effective utilisation and management of campus facilities, infrastructure, equipment, and other institutional resources.
• Lead the preparation and coordination of accreditation, audit, quality assurance, institutional review, and other regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for institutional growth, new academic programmes, strategic collaborations, student recruitment, internationalisation, and revenue generation.
• Manage and resolve strategic, academic, operational, staff, and student-related issues effectively and in accordance with University policies and governance requirements.

REQUIREMENTS :

• PhD in Management / Entrepreneurship / Human Resource Management / Leadership or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in operations, campus, facilities, or institutional management.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in higher education institutions, professional training, or other relevant educational environments.
• Significant industrial or professional experience, preferably in areas related to management, entrepreneurship, human resource management, or other relevant fields.
• Strong professional networking capabilities, with a proven ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships with industry, academia, and professional communities.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including proficiency in statistical analysis, research methodology, and predictive modelling.
• Possess a doctoral qualification in Management, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Leadership, or a related discipline, supported by substantial academic and industry experience.
• Demonstrated academic excellence and a strong publication record in reputable indexed journals.
• Strong teaching, mentoring, and student development capabilities.
• Excellent professional networking and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to establish meaningful collaborations with industry and academic partners.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
