Production operator

POSITION SUMMARY:

Attend to machines so they operate correctly and produce the desired results. Likewise, set up cleaning and maintenance schedules to prevent problems by keeping machines in good working order.

AUTHORITY:

The Operator is authorized to operate assigned machines in accordance with safety and production standards. He/she may stop the machine in case of any safety hazard or quality deviation and must immediately report issues to the Team Leader or Assistant Supervisor.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate production machines according to defined operating procedures and safety standards.
• Monitor machine performance and product output to ensure consistency with quality specifications.
• Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting during operation.
• Ensure the cleanliness of assigned machines and surrounding work areas in line with housekeeping standards.
• Report any mechanical malfunctions, deviations, or abnormalities to the Team Leader or Assistant Supervisor immediately.
• Fill out production logs, shift reports, and quality check forms accurately and on time.
• Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods, ensuring proper handling.
• Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and actively participate in maintaining a safe work environment.
• Support smooth shift handovers by providing clear updates on machine status and production progress.
• Cooperate with team members and other departments to ensure workflow continuity and minimize downtime.
• Notify maintenance or quality control teams promptly when assistance is required.
• Handle materials and operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks if trained and authorized.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma / equivalent

Experience:

Minimum 2 Years Experience in field of Nonwoven / Textile / Plastics Manufacturing

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
