Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.

· Coordinate with other departments (such as Sales and Design) to ensure timely delivery of materials and components needed for production.

· Lead, train, and mentor production staff to enhance productivity and performance.

· Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to encourage teamwork and innovation.

· Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure that all products meet specifications and compliance requirements.

· Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement in quality and efficiency.

· Analyze production processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and develop actionable plans for improvement.

· Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

· Oversee the production budget, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to financial targets.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to achieve budget goals.

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the production facility.

· Promote a culture of safety and implement training programs to minimize workplace hazards.

· Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure production efficiency and output.

· Regularly review performance data and provide reports to senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

· Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of materials and components.

· Oversee inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month

• How many years of experience do you have as a Production Manager or Production Supervisor in fabrication, manufacturing, fit-out, signage, sculptures, or a similar production environment?
• Do you have hands-on experience managing production involving metal fabrication, welding, FRP/fiberglass, painting/finishing, CNC/3D production, or custom fabrication?
• Briefly explain how you would plan and manage multiple production projects running simultaneously with different deadlines, manpower requirements, and material requirements.
• Are you able to understand technical drawings, fabrication drawings, dimensions, BOQs, material specifications, and production requirements?
