Mat Up! is looking for a product photographer and photo editor for a short 3-day project. This is a fast-paced contract role focused on creating clean and consistent product images for our car floor mat models.
- The photos will be used for Amazon, Shopify, Instagram, and other online listings. This is not a high-end creative campaign shoot. The goal is to produce clear, professional, stock-style product images for a large number of vehicle mat models.
- Support staff will be available to help prepare, move, and organize the mats during the shoot.
Responsibilities
- Take product photos of car floor mats, including driver side, passenger side, and rear row mats.
- Create one clean combined image per vehicle model showing the full set.
- Edit photos using Adobe Photoshop, including basic lighting correction, background cleanup, cropping, and minor touch-ups.
- Use Photoshop generative AI or similar tools where needed for simple cleanup and adjustments.
- Maintain consistent image style across all product models.
- Organize completed images into the correct folders by vehicle/model.
- Work efficiently to complete a high volume of photos within the 3-day project.
Project Expectations
- Approximately 300 photos total over 3 days.
- Images must be suitable for e-commerce use, including Amazon, Shopify, and social media.
- The focus is speed, consistency, and clean presentation rather than complex creative editing.
Qualifications
- Experience with product photography.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop.
- Good understanding of lighting, angles, cropping, and clean product presentation.
- Ability to work quickly and stay organized.
- Good attention to detail.
