Te Tūranga \| The role:

This role is focused on the management and continuous improvement of business lending documentation, with a strong emphasis on analysis that supports alignment, accuracy and informed decision-making across the business lending product lifecycle.

You’ll ensure business lending documentation remains accurate, consistent and aligned to product design, system configuration and regulatory requirements, supporting well-governed, fit-for-purpose products that deliver great customer outcomes.

A key part of the role is applying analysis capability to interpret requirements, assess impacts and identify opportunities to improve documentation practices. You’ll work across product artefacts, systems and processes to analyse alignment, trace dependencies, and support well-evidenced decisions.

Working across Product, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Technology and Operations, you’ll contribute to maintaining strong document integrity, enhancing practices over time, and supporting the ongoing evolution of our lending products.

This role suits someone who enjoys working in detail, strengthening controls, and improving how products are supported through clear, well-managed documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage lending documentation to ensure ongoing alignment with product design, system configuration and regulatory requirements.
• Apply analysis to interpret requirements and assess alignment across product artefacts and systems, supporting consistency and clarity.
• Provide clear, evidence-based insights and recommendations to support prioritisation and decision-making.
• Maintain consistent, high-quality documentation standards that support well-governed, customer-appropriate product outcomes.
• Support the application of legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring documentation remains compliant and appropriate for customers.
• Contribute to the management of product issues and customer outcomes, aligned to risk appetite and governance standards.
• Work cross-functionally across Product, Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Operations to deliver aligned, high-quality outcomes.

You’re an analytical and detail-focused Product Manager who enjoys working closely with complex information and ensuring products are well-managed, well-governed and consistently delivered. You’re comfortable working in environments that require precision, consistency and strong governance discipline, and you bring a pragmatic, thoughtful approach to how products are managed and maintained.

You’ll succeed in this role if you:

• Have experience in banking or financial services, ideally with exposure to lending products or documentation.
• Bring demonstrated product management and/or analysis capability, including interpreting requirements and assessing impacts across systems and documentation.
• Are comfortable working with complex information, and can translate it into clear, structured insights
• Bring strong critical thinking skills, decision making, problem solving.
• Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across a range of stakeholders.
• Communicate effortlessly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting your style as needed.
• Are comfortable working in environments requiring precision, consistency and strong governance discipline.
• Enjoy working in environments that are adapting to change and where you help define processes, uplift capability, and build something that will last.
• Have an understanding of risk management and regulatory expectations in New Zealand.
