Planning Engineer - Mechanical

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project schedules using planning software.
• Develop project execution plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project timelines.
• Monitor project progress and identify schedule variances.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and site teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Analyze project delays and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor resource utilization and support project planning activities.
• Participate in project meetings and provide schedule updates.
• Ensure planning activities comply with company procedures and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (Mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Oil \& Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Good analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
